Anomaly: Warzone Earth shoots its way to PSN this summer

Developer 11 bit studios will be releasing its acclaimed tower defense game Anomaly: Warzone Earth on the PlayStation Network later this summer. The game, which was first available on PC, received a ton of praise for its enjoyable gameplay and fresh take on the tower defense genre.

Anomaly will feature local co-op, with one player acting as commander and the other planning strategies. The game will be shown off at this year's Gamescom, so folks will be able to check out the upcoming PlayStation Network version ahead of time.

No word on when exactly Anomaly will land on the PlayStation Network, and pricing details haven't been revealed yet, either. That said, the game currently runs for $9.99 on Steam, so the pricing will likely be the same on Sony's digital platform.
