Arrow’s Black Canary teases mystery video game

Is it an Injustice game or an Arrow game?

Katie Cassidy, the actress behind Black Canary on Arrow, posted a photograph on Instagram teasing her involvement in some mystery game's development. While no further hints have been released, the speculation has focused on Cassidy's involvement in an upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us sequel.

While most speculation has her working on an Injustice game, one fan commented on Cassidy's photo saying that the game would be like "Tomb Raider," but they had no further details:

"I went to megacon and she said that it was a tomb raider like game. So if any game like that has been introduced at E3 then that is probably what she's working on in this picture."

Whether or not that is true is unknown – it's all speculation at this point.

The process of game making! Freakin awesome!!! #falsewitness

Earlier this week, rumors on the upcoming reveal of Injustice: Gods Among Us 2 surfaced, detailing the game for release on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. No confirmation on this game has come from NetherRealm yet, however, that doesn't mean the rumor should be shrugged off.

The Injustice comic is set to end this year and Black Canary does make an appearance in the comic. The comic has a direct connection to the game (it's worth a read – the story is intense), so it would only make sense for Injustice 2 to release.
