Assassin’s Creed: The Fall comic book launches on iPad

Assassin's Creed: The Fall, a digital comic book series that expands on the Assassin's Creed universe, is available to download today exclusively for the iPad.

The three-part mini-series offers fans to a whole new storyline that takes a closer look at the war between the Assassins and the Templars, and introduces all-new characters like Master Assassin Nikolai Orelov.

Orelov's adventure will be detailed over three hi-def comic issues, beginning with this first one that is available for free once you purchase the app for £0.69/$0.99. Each additional issue will be available from within the app for $2.99/ 2.39€ each.

The app can be downloaded from the iTunes store and offers a variety of options to readers including horizontal and vertical views, the option to switch between color or black and white, and the ability to slide from page to page.

With Assassin's Creed 3 on the horizon, this comic series could provide you with a nice dose of Assassin's Creed before the game's release in October.
