Continuing the Countdown to 2015, Microsoft today has discounts for two Assassin's Creed titles — one for Xbox One, and the other for Xbox 360.
On Xbox One, you can snag Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag for 50 percent off, bringing the price down to around $25. Meanwhile, on Xbox 360 you can get Assassin's Creed Liberation HD, a former PlayStation Vita exclusive remastered for consoles, for 75 percent off.
For those unfamiliar, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag tells the story of Edward Kenway, a young British man who falls from privateering for the Royal Navy into piracy as the war between the major Empires comes to an end. With a thirst for danger and adventure, Edward finds himself embroiled in the war between Assassins and Templars. Throughout the game you'll journey throughout the West Indies during the period of time later known as the Golden Age of Pirates — and yes, you'll see some of the most infamous pirates in history, including Blackbeard and Charles Vane.
Assassin's Creed Liberation, meanwhile, puts you in the boots of the series' first female protagonist, Aveline de Grandpre, an African-French Assassin fighting to win freedom for her land and her people.
In addition to these two daily deals, you can find a number of other Xbox One and 360 games on sale through December 31, including Alien: Isolation, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Destiny, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, and more. Check out all of this week's Countdown to 2015 sales here.
