Ubisoft has confirmed Assassin's Creed Unity. Following leaked screenshots, the developer/publisher released a brief teaser trailer showing off the next-gen graphics while confirming an 18th-century Paris, France setting.
"We have been working on the new Assassin's Creed for more than three years and although we weren't quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand!" Ubisoft said. "So here's a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin's Creed Unity."
What's most impressive about this trailer is that it's comprised of alpha footage. Those graphics.
Assassin's Creed Unity will be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC in fall 2014. A last-gen Assasin's Creed is also rumored to be in development for Xbox 360 and PS3 (and also PC).
