Atlus has revealed the release date for the action role-playing game Code of Princess for Nintendo 3DS.

The game, which publisher Atlus more specifically describes as a "mix of side-scrolling beat 'em up with action RPG peppered in," is coming to the handheld on October 9.

Code of Princess allows for one to four players and features online multiplayer, co-op quests, and a versus mode.

Those who preorder will receive a "Sound + Visual Book" incentive that covers the game's art and music.
