Awake Trailer – new NBC show (2012)

A new show coming to NBC on March 1, 2012 at 10PM. From executive producers Kyle Killen and Howard Gordon.

Awake is a drama about Detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs). After getting into a car accident, he finds he's living two parallel lives — one where his wife (Laura Allen) survived and his son (Dylan Minnette) is dead, and one where his son survived and his wife is dead. It seemed like both of them died in the accident, but his mind creates a coping mechanism where he lives those two separate lives.

Trying to regain some normalcy, he returns to his job solving crimes in both worlds with the help of two different partners, Detective Isaiah "Bird" Freeman (Steve Harris) and Detective Efrem Vega (Wilmer Valderrama). Michael is assigned a case in each reality, but he will quickly discover that his dual existence in parallel universes is actually a powerful tool, as the cases seem to be connected.
