Korean dominance isn't something exclusive to Starcraft it seems. In their first showing in an international League of Legends tournament, Korean team Azubu Blaze took home the gold, beating out American fan favorites Team Solo Mid. They did so in impressive fashion, sweeping them in three games. This was the second time they faced off in the tournament, with the first being in the tournament's round robin stage.
Azubu's performance was great throughout the tournament – so great, they only lost one map the entire weekend. Interestingly enough, they are not invited to the Summer Championship in Raleigh at the end of this month. The other invited teams will be breathing a sigh of relief at that news, but are sure to have to face off against Azubu again in the League of Legends Season 2 championships in a few months. This will not be the last we hear of Azubu Blaze, mark my words.
