The enhanced edition of classic role-playing game Baldur's Gate 2, which released for PC and Mac late last year, should be hitting the App Store soon.
Trent Oster, the game's creative director over at developer Overhaul Games, tweeted today that the title is entering the final stages of approval with Apple and should be available for iOS devices "soon." He was unable to specify how soon that will be.
Just checked the iTunes account and it appears the in-app purchases have been approved, so BGII:EE should hit soon.

Baldur's Gate 2 is also due for Android. The iOS version will require a first-edition or newer iPad, iOS 5.1 or newer, and 2.5GB of free space to play.
