Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition delayed until November

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, which was set to release next week, has now been delayed until November.

Overhaul Games, the developing division of Beamdog who is working on the game, took to the forums to tell fans that the game will now release on November 30, 2012.

"After recently reviewing the game and then consulting with our partners, we've decided to ensure that Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is the best possible product on launch," Overhaul Games president Trent Oster said.

"Executing on our plan to make the best Baldur’s Gate possible and responding to that overwhelming feedback, we’ve added new characters, areas, and story, creating many new hours of game play. Yet the suggestions, fixes, and translations continue, and more volunteers keep joining," he added.

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, the re-mastered version of the classic RPG, already features three new characters, an additional new six-hour long adventure, and over 400 gameplay and UI improvements.

As a reward for the dedicated players who have already pre-ordered the game, Beamdog is working on "something a little extra for you."
