Bastion and Transistor are 75% off on PS4 this weekend

It’s no Flash Sale, but PS4 owners can get a great deal on Bastion and Transistor this weekend. For developer Supergiant’s Digital Showcase sale, Bastion has been discounted 77 percent, dropping it from $14.99 to $3.45.

Transistor is seeing a 75 percent reduction, leaving it at $5.00 even. A theme for the game, discounted by 66 percent to $1.02, will also be available. All discounts are live at the time of writing and will continue through Sunday, July 27.

Both games are excellent purchases, to be sure. We didn’t award Bastion and Transistor the same review score of 9.0 without reason. The former is backed by polished, simple combat and brilliant storytelling. Transistor, meanwhile, leverages the strengths of its predecessor to create a richer, more tactical combat system without sacrificing Supergiant’s artful design.
