Batman Arkham Knight returns to PC four months after it was pulled

Batman Arkham Knight is finally returning to shelves for PC next week, four months after it was originally pulled. Following the realization that the non-console edition of the game was deeply and truly flawed with technical issues, rendering it essentially unplayable, WB Games and Rocksteady made the right decision about yanking it while they waded through the problem.

Rocksteady has confirmed that the game will reappear on Steam on October 28th, “At 10 am PDT, Oct. 28th, Batman: Arkham Knight will be re-released for the PC platform. At the same time we’ll also be releasing a patch that brings the PC version fully up-to-date with content that has been released for console (with the exception of console exclusives).”

Now that the game has been out for a full fiscal quarter and the major spoilers have probably been whispered, it’s questionable how much interest there is, especially with the major gaming season ahead of us and some impressive titles on the very near horizon, but it will be interesting to see what crafty PC gamers will be able to come up with in regards to mods.
