Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition trailer shows off deleted scenes and characters

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is probably the most devisive films in a long time, you either hated it or loved it. There is no middle ground. Fans everywhere are so divided on the film, critics destroyed the movie and has caused Warner Bros. to shuffle staff around. Hell, even cast members hated the film. Before the movie was released, it was revealed that the home video release of the film would include a 3 hour R-rated directors cut. Whether or not the scenes are critical to the plot or a bunch of random nonsense like the deleted scenes for Star Wars: The Force Awakens remains to be seen, but a trailer may give us some insight on what to expect.

In the trailer, we see several new things one of which being Jena Malone's character who is heavily rumored to be Barbra Gordon/Batgirl. She can be seen for a split second in the theatrical cut of the film during the dream sequence with all of Superman's evil soliders. We also see Batman attacking security guards in Lexcorp on a security camera, presumably when he is stealing Kryptonite from Lex Luthor. The cut scenes also seem to focus more on Superman, who felt like he didn't have a lot to do for most of the film in the theatrical cut.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition will release on June 28th for digital platforms and July 19th for Blu-Ray and DVD.
