DICE has revealed the release dates for upcoming vehicle-centric expansion, Battlefield 3: Armored Kill. Revealed via the Battlefield Premium site, there are actually quite a few release dates for the expansion depending on your platform and membership.
For Battlefield 3 Premium members on the PlayStation 3, you will get first access to the expansion when it releases on September 4th. A week later (September 11), it will release for Xbox 360 and PC Battlefield 3 Premium members.
For non-premium members on PS3, it will release on September 18. For regular Xbox 360 and PC users it will become available on September 25.
Armored Kill adds four new maps, one of which is the biggest map in Battlefield history. It also brings new vehicles, including tanks, ATV's, and mobile artillery, as well as more than 20 unlocks for the new vehicles. The expansion also includes a new Tank Superiority game mode.
Armored Kill is the third of five planned expansion packs for Battlefield 3. Included as part of Battlefield 3 Premium, fans can gain access with a one-time payment of $49.99 which will unlock all previous expansions as well as the next two: Aftermath and End Game.
