The new add-on content for Battlefield 4 that Electronic Arts teased yesterday might be free for players, if a tweet by the game's producer is any indiciation.
Responding to a tweet on Twitter claiming "the new content to [Battlefield 4] NEEDS to be free," Battlefield producer David Sirland simply said "Indeed, it does."
And just like that, rumors are born. Now EA hasn't announced any sort of details — we don't even know what the future content will entail — but why would the producer of the game even suggest such a thing if it weren't going to happen? These days, even the simplest of tweets can attract the most attention, and I'm sure Sirland just got a bunch of gamers' hopes up.
Although we don't have specific details for the DLC, EA did hint at their plans by asking players to fill out a survey asking "if a reimagining of a Battlefield classic map was to happen, which map would that be?"
