Well, we were right. The previous Save the Date sent by EA was for DICE's upcoming shooter, Battlefield 4. According to today's official invitation, Battlefield 4 will, indeed, be unveiled at GDC 2013 on March 26, 2013. Like the save the date, the official invitation has the same blue-ish/orange color palette, lens flare, and rain. Oh, it also specifically mentions Battlefield 4 — so this time we know it's true.
A beta for Battlefield 4 is set to take place this fall. Anyone who pre-ordered Medal of Honor: Warfigther Limited Edition will be able to participate, though DICE has said there will be other ways to gain access.
Despite the game's upcoming release, EA and DICE have said they will continue to support Battlefield 3 well into the future, even after Battlefield 4's launch. We're certainly looking forward to what Battlefield 4 has to offer and we'll be sure to keep you updated with anything we learn about the game.
