Battlefield: Hardline’s beta will be offered to everyone

It's universally known, at least among us gamers, that the launch of Battlefield 4 was less than stellar. Actually, it was terrible. Whether it was the constant disconnects, freezes, or gameplay bugs and glitches, Battlefield 4 was quite a mess. And because of that, players are now wary of Battlefield: Hardline. Aware of the situation, EA and Visceral have announced plans to host a beta for an undisclosed amount of time across all major platforms. What's more, it'll be available to everyone.

Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC gamers will all have full access to the beta, no questions asked. The beta will consist of two maps across two modes. The tried and true Conquest mode will be for those that enjoy the classic 64-player Battlefield experience. However, for those wanting to try a mode that's infused with some speed alongside all out warfare, will want to check out Hotwire, a new mode that's all about high speed chases. In this mode, two teams will gun each other down in high speed vehicles on expansive maps.

There will also be no cap on max progression, meaning hardcore players can play the crap out of the beta, unlock all the sweet gadgets, and try them out before the game ships.

EA and Visceral actually want you to play the hell out of the game. By removing the level cap, it'll ensure the most stable experience once the game launches on March 17th. While we don't yet have a starting date for the beta, we can assume that it's going to happen soon since the game is about two months away from release.

Here are four screenshots, two from each of the maps, Downtown and Dust Bowl respectively
