A new report claims EA has plans to unveil Battlefield Premium, a new premium content service for Battlefield 3 that looks to rival Activision's Call of Duty Elite subscription service. Battlefieldo claims an "unofficial, but very reliable source" has told them EA will reveal this new service on June 4 during E3.
"Battlefield Premium will land you a number of content drops with unique in-game items not available anywhere else," a description of the service reveals.
"First out is the one-of-a-kind Premium knife and black dog tag, plus a set of soldier camos, weapon camos, dog tags and Assignments that will make sure you stand out and get more personalization options."
The report also lists a number of other dates for Battlefield 3 content, including a rumor of an as-of-yet announced fifth expansion. Back in March, EA and DICE revealed Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, the first of three planned DLC add-ons. Other expansions mentioned, but not detailed were Armored Kill (Fall 2012) and End Game (Winter 2012).
None of the expansions had a release date, but Battlefieldo suggests Close Quarters will release on June 12th.
The rumored fifth expansion pack is still untitled but expected to release March 2013.
