Best Buy Exclusive Dark Pit amiibo won’t have pre-orders

Amiibo collectors will have to prepare their tents and sleeping bags, the Dark Pit amiibo is going to be a hard one to get. The amiibo is not only exclusive to one retailer, but it won't be up for pre-order… That means you will be standing in line to get it.

Best Buy will be exclusively releasing the amiibo on July 31. The original store listing on the Best Buy's store page had a snapshot of the amiibo with "Only at Best Buy," the post has since been updated without the exclusivity not.

The internet is a handy thing, an image of the original listing was captured before the store page was altered (thanks NeoGaf). The page might have been altered because the exclusivity note on the image covers up his weapon.

Dark Pit is releasing as part of Wave 5a, alongside Palutena. Wave 5b will release in September with Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Olimar, Dr. Mario, and Bowser Jr.. If Dark Pit will require so much work, hopefully Palutena will be easier to get a hold of.
