Bethesda shows us how to survive and upgrade our abilities in The Evil Within

Damn The Evil Within, you scary! Even after watching all these videos, I'm pretty sure that once I actually do get to play The Evil Within, I'm still going be scared sh*tless.

In this video, we get a glimpse at the various ways Sebastian, the main protagonist of The Evil Within, will have to utilize the environments to his advantage. Weapons are refered to as a 'luxury,' meaning you won't be able to rely on them for survival.

We also get a glimpse at the Asylum, Sebastian's safe haven on the other side, where you'll be able to upgrade numerous abilities, weapons and inventory.

Check out the video right here:

Making your way through The Evil Within is no walk in the park. In order to survive, it's important to learn how the game's systems can play in your favor. Taking advantage of resources, managing ammo, and simply knowing when it's time to run away can help stave off death for a moment longer. Get a 101 lesson on survival and be prepared for October 14th.

The Evil Within releases on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC on Tuesday, October 14th in North America and Europe.
