What if you created the story in a game by simply playing in its world? Now, sure – you progress a games pre-written story as you play it, but you never really get to create it.
The developers at Day For Night games are looking to give you that power. Housed on Kickstarter and sitting $47K of $550K requested with 31 days to go is The Black Glove.
Created by developers that helped bring us BioShock Infinite, BioShock, Steven Spielberg's BOOM BLOX and more, The Black Glove will take us into a theatre in the late 1920's called The Equinox. The theatre itself isn't molded by what we concieve as the real world, it's got less boundries between real and imagination. You are a Curator in this theatre and its your job to restore balance to the three exhibits.
The three exhibits are from the three different creators, each focusing on a diferent media; Film, Music and Art. You will bend time for them, change their past and bring their art to the level of glory it was meant to have. How you change it is up to you — your influence will be echoed throughout time, changing everything for that creator. The only thing that's guarunteed is what you'll be using to influence their past: games (that's where the game gets meta).
The intention behind this game is simple, offer a game with tons of replayability that's fun.
