Blackguards 2 shows off its fancy faction play

It looks like Blackguards 2 is going in a bit of a different direction than the original – in a totally great way that is. You won’t be losing any of the turn based strategic combat you’re use too but will be adding a large scale map and faction component. So while you’re trying to help conquer the entirety of the map, you’ll have an opponent trying to do the same.

For the first time ever you’ll also be defending instead of just attacking. This means you’ll have the opportunity to set up the map with traps and blockage to help assist in the fight. Apparently this is only the tip of the iceberg with more good news to come. Watch the video above and keep in tune.
