Following a brief delay, Zombie Studios' Blacklight: Retribution has released on PlayStation 4 in Europe.
The free-to-play, first-person shooter was released in beta alongside the North American PS4 launch and Zombie Studios says the game has seen a "steady rise" in players. It requires no investment as it's free-to-play and is one of the few games that is also available without the need for a PlayStation Plus subscription.
"This is a really great time for our studio, and we know that our current fans and newcomers alike will enjoy the game as much as we do," said studio director Jared Gerritzen.
Blacklight: Retribution was one of two games delayed for the PS4's European launch, the other being thatgamecompany's flOw which EU PS Blog Manager Fred Dutton says should release sometime this week.
