Blizzard considering pairing Warcraft film ticket with World of Warcraft game collection

As we inch closer to the June 10, 2016 release of director Duncan Jones' Warcraft film, Blizzard is beginning to consider what they can do to support the film's launch. It appears as though Blizzard is looking to kill two birds with one stone when it comes to the Warcraft release.

Blizzard has begun sending out surveys to gauge whether or not fans would be interested in receiving a digital version of World of Warcraft, along with every expansion, when purchasing a ticket for the upcoming Warcraft film.

Pairing a ticket with digital copies of the World of Warcraft collection could lead to more accounts on World of Warcraft, which will in turn drive up revenue with monthly subscriptions.

The survey was made public on the World of Warcraft sub-Reddit, where Blizzard's community support revealed that regardless of the typo "Litch King" (it should read 'Lich King,' has since be fixed), the survey is legtimate.

It will be interesting to see how World of Warcraft fares after the film's release and the release of their upcoming expansion, Legion.
