Blizzard to skip E3 2012 for fifth straight year

For the fifth consecutive year developer-publisher Blizzard will not be attending E3.

For most of you this probably doesn't come as a surprise as the company tends to host it's own BlizzCon event every year; however, with the Blizzard recently confirming they won't be holding a BlizzCon event this year some might have thought they'd attend E3 instead to show off their upcoming titles.

Alas, that is not the case and it looks like fans will have to wait for further news on games like StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm and their next MMO, Project Titan.

Blizzard did say they will have a presence at Gamescom 2012 in August though.
