Blue Dragon heading to Xbox One via backward compatibility

Back in 2006, a role-playing video game by the name of Blue Dragon released in Japan and in the following year it game released in North America. Blue Dragon was based on a design by Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, who also oversaw development and wrote the plot.

The game spanned over three discs in total and was met with positive reviews once release.

Xbox Head Phil Spencer has confirmed that Blue Dragon will be heading to the Xbox One via backward compatibility at some point in the future. Spencer didn't detail when, but a firm yes should be exciting news none the less:

That's right, you'll soon be able to experience the classic exploration and turn-based combat from Blue Dragon on your Xbox One!
