Last time we heard news regarding Bomb Monkey, the next game to come from Mutant Mudds developer Renegade Kid, Director Jools Watsham said he hoped to have the game out by the second quarter of 2012. It looks like the game is right on course, as Renegade Kid will be launching Bomb Monkey on the 3DS eShop later this week.
The game features puzzle block gameplay (check out the trailer above), two-player co-op, and two-player versus. If the soundtrack in Bomb Monkey is anything like the trailer, we can also expect some enjoyable tunes, too!
No word on pricing yet, but I'll be delivering those details this Thursday as part of my what's downloadable this week, Nintendo? news series. If you're looking for some puzzle gaming on your 3DS, keep an eye on Bomb Monkey.
