Boom Beach update sneak peek #3: Operations

Continuing to tease new features in the upcoming Boom Beach update, Supercell today provided a sneak peek at Operations, assaults on the Blackguard made through your Task Force.

"Use your intel and chat with your Task Force to pick the right target!" Supercell teased.

According to the brief information released, the leader of your Task Force or its Officers can launch operations against the Blackguard. When launching an Operation, two or more bases are revealed for your Task Force to attack. Using Intel earned by members of the Task Force, you'll be able to make more informed strategic decisions. Higher intel cost operations will be harder, but will also offer greater rewards for success. Completing Operations will also earn Force Points which means more rewards and more fame on the leaderboards. Each operation lasts 24 hours.

Supercell hasn't announced a release date for the update, but assuming they follow their traditional pattern, I'd expect a few more sneak peeks followed by the update's release some time next week.
