Clash of Clans isn't the only Supercell game getting an update soon. In addition to Clash of Clans' spooky Halloween update, Supercell's other hit mobile, Boom Beach, is also getting an update. And in typical Supercell fashion, the developer has provided us with some sneak peeks.
With Task Forces, you'll be able to join forces with other players and fight the Blackguard together (kind of like Clans). Task Forces come in four different max player sizes — 5, 10, 25, and 50 — and you're able to increase at any time. However, once you increase your Task Force's max player size, you can never decrease it again since there are separate leaderboards for each size bracket. Task Forces become available at HQ 6.
"Bigger Task Forces can take on more difficult operations and potentially get greater rewards, but the challenge of successfully coordinating at a larger scale should be considered," warns Supercell.
With Task Forces also comes the ability to gather intel to uncover the Blackguard mainland. With the update, you'll be able to gather intel from attack and defense. Intel contributions from each Task Force member are visible to everyone and it belongs to your Task Force, meaning if you leave, you don't take it with you.
If Supercell is following their traditional update pattern, then expect a few more sneak peeks before the update arrives either late this week or early next week.
