If you haven't yet landed on Pandora and experienced the fast-paced shoot and loot action of Borderlands 2, then I suggest you head over to Amazon because they are offering the game for 50% off. Normally priced at $59.99, you can purchase Borderlands 2 for Xbox 360 or PS3 for just $29.99. The online retailer doesn't say how long the promotion will be offered, so if you do have any interested in the game I suggest you head over there quickly.
Borderlands 2 was released all the way back in September 2012, but Gearbox and 2K Games have kept the game relevant with a healthy dose of downloadable content. When first released, there were plans for four separate DLC packs (not including the free Mechromancer class). To date, we've seen the release of three add-ons: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, and the just-released Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt.
Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, available today, is the latest add-on. It takes place in Aegrus, the uncharted territory deep in the swamps of Pandora and sends you on an exploration where you'll encounter all-new characters, new environments like The Sun Swamp, and even more loot.
Remember, the Borderlands 2 Season Pass is still available for $29.99. Remember that $30 savings Amazon is offering? Well, you could put that towards the four DLC add-ons. Just an idea…
