The cross-save functionality for the PlayStation Vita version of Borderlands 2 has been implemented, Sony confirmed today. This means PS3 owners can now transfer their save file to the Vita version and vice versa.

The Vita version of Borderlands 2 was released earlier this month as both a standalone and bundled with the new Vita. Though the entirety of the game is included along with all six DLC packs, the Vita version does have some noticable framerate issues and only supports two-player online co-op, as opposed to the console versions which allow up to four players.
