Brain Age 3 in Development

Although the Nintendo DS’s Brain Age series has sold over thirty-three million copies worldwide, gamers have not heard anything from the series for a long time aside from a few pack-in games for the DSi. However, this streak might be ending soon as Professor Ryuta Kawashima, aka “the floating head guy” has confirmed that the third game in the series — called “Farewell Brain Games” — is in development.

While no details have been revealed at this time, Kawashima has stated that the game is tentatively due to be released sometime in 2010. As Nintendo has not announced any details regarding the game, Japanese gaming journalist Hiroki Tachibana has speculated that the game might be for the 3DS.
