Bravely Default receives demo with content not featured in game

For those in North America, we are forced to wait to get Bravely Default until February 7th. While this pains me,  today’s Nintendo Direct calmed my heart some. Come January 2nd, a Bravely Default demo will be released in the eShop. This isn’t your typical demo though, the side story you’ll take part in will be an adventure not featured in the vanilla game.

So for free, you’ll be able to experience this side quest. The demo will allow you to toy around with the job system and get use to the combat. There is MORE though! Item packs will be unlocked during gameplay that will carry over to the full version of the game. Street Pass options will also be available in the demo so see to it that your friends download it as well.

Check out the trailer!
