Bring your swim trunks for this Mass Effect 3: Leviathan trailer

The Mass Effect 3: Leviathan DLC doesn't release until next week, but BioWare has given fans something to stew over for the weekend. A new trailer for the "story-driven" single player expansion was released today, setting the tone for the new adventure which sends Shepard and his crew on a mission to discover the origins of the Reapers.

In the DLC, Shepard and crew travel to a distant planet where they appear to encounter the Reaper named Leviathan while looking to discover the most closely guarded secret in the galaxy. What else will they find among the depths? We're not too sure, but I'm sure some sort of unknown dangers lurk below the surface of that planet.

Mass Effect 3: Leviathan will be available for just $10 (800 Microsoft Points) on Tuesday, August 28 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. In addition to the compelling storyline you'll be introduced to new characters and powerful weapons and upgrades. You'll discover more about the origins of the Reapers as you search for the Leviathan.
