Director Bryan Singer dropped a bombshell today when he tweeted out a major announcement. According to Singer, another X-Men movie is in the works called X-Men: Apocalypse, and it is coming out in 2016.
Currently, Singer is working on X-Men: Days of Future Past, which combines most of the cast of his first two X-Men movies with that of X-Men: First Class. Singer didn't work on Last Stand, the third film in the original X-Men trilogy, and it's so bad that I think everyone would rather forget it.
#Xmen #Apocalypse 2016!

The Wrap says that X-Men: Apocalypse is slated to open in theaters on May 27, 2016, but that isn't confirmed yet. This announcement of Apocalypse, who is an awesome villain that I've been dying to see on the big screen, is proof that Fox and Singer knows how big Day of Future Past is going to be.
