It was recently revealed that Fox has officially ordered a pilot for the upcoming X-Men TV series, and now today we know who will direct it.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Bryan Singer has been tapped to direct the pilot, and will also then serve as Executive Producer if it is picked up for a full schedule. Singer is no stranger to the X-Men franchise, as this will be the fifth project he's directed after the original X-Men, X-2, Days of Future Past and Apocalypse.
The series does not have a title as of yet, but will focus on two parents who go on the run from the government after discovering their child is a mutant. The parents then team up with an underground band of mutants in an attempt to fight back.
