There's a lot going on in Destiny right now, there's a in-game currency that can be purchased through microtransactions and 18 new emotes, the Iron Banner is live now and a whole new update for the game. There's some else though, the Nightfall Strike.
Destiny players have been upset with Nightfall rewards for a while now and Bungie has officially acknowledged that the rewards are less than stellar. Luke Smith, the Design Lead for Raids in Destiny took to Twitter to announce that Nightfall would be changed – eventually.
In the past players could recieve a reputation buff along with other rewards for running Strike, but with The Taken King the buff was removed. Now players look forward to kind of lame legendaries (could be decent while gearing up) or Strange Coins.
Bungie is working on a fix, but we don't know when that fix is coming – for now we just need to be happy with that.
