Bungie previews plans for Destiny’s next update

Increased vault space, raid fixes, and more

Sometime between now and the release of Destiny's next DLC, House of Wolves, Bungie will push live a new update for the game. While the update doesn't yet have a fancy name (they're calling it 1.1.2 for now), Bungie already has a list of features and tweaks they'd like to implement. In this week's post, Bungie briefly touched on various aspects of the game that could see some changes with the next update.

  • Vault Space – We know you need more space to collect all the treasures you gain from your missions, and more gear is on the way.
  • Raid Fixes – There are times when Atheon and Crota can be uncooperative, so we’re tackling their worst bugs.
  • Audio and Visual – Not everyone wants to see or hear a game the same way, which is why we’re looking at providing more options.
  • PVP Ammunition – The Crucible team wants to change the way ammo crates dictate the flow of a battle.
  • Strikes – The numbers tell us that there are some missions that are successfully completed far less than others, inspiring us to look at why people quit.

Bungie notes that none of these are on the "locked list of guaranteed features," but they are some priorities the developer is exploring. With update 1.1.2 still "weeks away," Bungie has plans to delve into each point in the coming weeks.
