Like Halloween earlier this year, Bungie will be giving out a small holiday gift in Destiny to celebrate the holiday spirit. Consider it "a small token of our gratitude," the developer said in the latest weekly update.
Though we don't yet know what the gift will be, Bungie noted that players should be on the lookout "for some small stocking stuffers." Unfortunately, it looks like Santa may be a bit late this year, as the free gift isn't expected to arrive until have teh holidays have come and gone.
For those of you who weren't playing Destiny in October, an update to the game brought players a Jackolyte pumpkin head. While it was mostly for cosmetic purposes, Xur, the mysterious weekend vendor, offered players wearing the Jackolyte a special "Flight of Shadows" consumable. This Flight of Shadows consumable, in turn, changed your Guardian's respawn appearance for 24 hours.
As always, we'll be sure to let you know when the holiday gift is implemented.
