Two brand new loot rarities will be coming to Call of Duty: Advanced's Supply Drop system next month, developer Sledgehammer Games revealed.
Shortly after the release of Advanced Warfare's third DLC pack, Supremacy, the next update for the game's Supply Drop system will add Legendary and Retired loot rarities.
The Legendary rarity class will arrive on Xbox on June 9th, with it "coming soon thereafter" to PlayStation and PC. This Legendary class kicks off with the Sentinel CI (Counter-Intelligence) Gear Set, of which there is only one set in existence, awarded to the very first Grand Master Prestige player in Advanced Warfare. The set will include eight pieces that can be unlocked via Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops. Each item is highlighted purple in the Armory with the highest redemption value in the game.
In addition to new loot being added to the Supply Drop system, Sledgehammer will also be retiring some of the existing items on June 9th for Xbox versions (coming soon to PlayStation and PC). The gear and weapon variants that are added into this new collectible Retired rarity class will be removed from Supply Drops and Advanced Supply Drops moving forward; but, if you have this gear already in your Armory, you'll still be able to use it in-game. For those who don't already have it, you won't be able to earn it in-game.
"Think of this gear as being decommissioned and the rarity of these items with also be going up," Sledgehammer said. "Unlike Legendary, however, if you redeem these after June 9th you’ll never have access to them again."
The first round of Retired Items in Advanced Warfare will be:
