Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Season Pass — which was announced yesterday along with the confirmation that the Call of Duty Elite service will be free for everyone — has not yet been confirmed for the Nintendo Wii.
According to CVG, Activision and Nintendo are still discussing a DLC deal that would bring additional content Map Packs to the Wii U. While all four of the planned downloadable content map packs will be available through individual purchase a la carte, the Season Pass offers them all bundled together for a discounted price.
Activision is reportedly "working with Nintendo on the possibility of releasing the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC Map Packs and the DLC Season Pass for this new gaming platform."
More details surrounding the deal will be "released at a later date", the company added.
As for the new direction of Call of Duty Elite, Activision announced all of the plans for their social platform yesterday. It will not only be completely free for anyone who owns Black Ops 2, but it will add even more support for many of the game's features including Zombie mode stat tracking.
