One of the last reveals during the Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer livestream was that the DLC Season Pass will feature four "mammoth" DLC packs. If you buy the DLC season pass for a copy of Ghosts on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, then the season pass transfers with you if you upgrade to an Xbox One or PS4. That's only if you're upgrading within the same console family. So you'd have to upgrade from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, or PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4.
Of course, you'll have to buy another copy of the game…
But earlier this month, GameStop announced a program that offers $50 trade-in credit for Xbox 360 games when PowerUp Rewards members upgrade to Xbox One version… so there ya go.
