Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer highlights Season Pass

Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts highlighting the game's Season Pass. Now anyone who has played Call of Duty games in the past is likely already familiar with the season pass concept, but for those who aren't it provides you with tons of additional downloadable content for one price — usually at a discount than if you were to purchase each piece of content separately.

For Call of Duty: Ghosts, there are four content packs: Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion, and Nemesis. Each pack promises brand new multiplayer maps, bonus weapons, and a unique 4-part episodic Extinction experience.

Season Pass owners will also get instant access to the Free Fall multiplayer map, plus the Team Leader Digital Pack which includes a unique multiplayer character head, weapon camo, reticule, player patch, player card and player background.

The Call of Duty: Ghosts Season Pass can be purchased for $50. For those concerned about upgrading, as long as you buy it before May 31, 2014 it will carry over for free from current to next-gen as long as its across the same console family (Xbox 360 to Xbox One or PS3 to PS4).
