The highly anticipated Call of Duty: WWII is mere days away and is now available for pre-load on PlayStation 4 and PC, and the PlayStation 4 download size is much lower than previously rumored.
The Xbox One download size was revealed a little while ago and landed at 45.1GB, and at the same time as the now common game size was revealed rumors surfaced that the PlayStation 4 download size would double that of the Xbox One, but luckily, it is now safe to say that it was just a rumor, PlayStation 4 players won’t have to free up some 90GB of space on their hard drives, that’s something PC players will have to do though.
As VG247 reports, and the picture above shows, Call of Duty: WWII weighs in 56.521GB on the PlayStation 4, a bit heavier than its Xbox One counterpart but still something most people won’t have any trouble with.
Today, pre-loading will also be available on PC via Steam, and that file size is a big one. Weighing in at a whopping 90GB it is by far the heaviest of the three. Luckily, there is still a few days until release so PC players got some time to both clear up some space on their hard drives and to start the download.
Call of Duty: WWII will release on November 3rd for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
