Call of Duty: WWII trophies revealed; Teases zombie gameplay details

Call of Duty: WWII drops next Friday and most of us are eager to go back to where the series began, World War II. The new entry in the acclaimed shooter series will be a much-requested throwback to the 1940s where the gameplay will be purely boots on the ground, moving away from the futuristic approach that the latest entries have taken.

Multiplayer will see quite the overhaul with a new create-a-class system called "Divisions", a brand new mode with various objectives called "War", and much more. The campaign will follow various soldiers from different countries fighting on the Eastern Front but will primarily focus on a group of American soldiers who will take on iconic battles like storming the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. Finally, the zombies mode will take advantage of Sledgehammer Games' horror roots and make a much more terrifying experience with the core zombies gameplay.
