Yoshinori Ono announced that Darkstalkers 1 and 3 were coming to XBLA and PSN as Darkstalkers Resurrection, which has both titles in a single downloadable bundle. Hopefully the netcode is as good as the recent Marvel vs Capcom Origins. While this is not the sequel we were hoping for, it's still really cool of Capcom to bring back classics like these in their near Arcade perfect forms.
Some wildly innaccurate predictions on what this was were on Twitter before the reveal. Here were some of our favorites:
- Another update for Marvel vs Capcom
- An exclusive Marvel fighting game to go up against Injustice.
- A Street Fighter x Tekken arcade machine
- Street Fighter x Final Fantasy (which would've been absolutely HORRIBLE)
Anyway, no details on pricing or release yet. We'll keep you posted.
