Capcom’s retail 3DS games heading to Nintendo eShop

Many of Capcom's already released 3DS titles will soon be available as downloads via the Nintendo eShop. Speaking on Capcom's official forums, Capcom Senior VP, Christian Svensson, revealed the company's plans to make 3DS titles which were previously only available at retail stores available on the 3DS eShop.

"Many of our our other previously released 3DS titles will be coming to the eShop in the coming months," Svensson said. "Details to follow when we're closer to release."

This means that the popular Resident Evil Revelations, as well as other Capcom 3DS titles like Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and Super Street Fighter IV 3D will most likely be purchasable via the eShop. This could also indicate that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which launches this march, could see a simultaneous eShop release.

Svensson concluded, "For the most part we're looking at what's coming next, not what's come previously."
