Don't let Capcom's lack of Wii U announcements fool you; the company is apparently working on a number of unknown games for Nintendo's upcoming console.
In fact, Capcom has "some good stuff" coming to the Wii U, but couldn't elaborate beyond that.
The publisher's senior vice-president of U.S. business, Christian Svensson, wrote just enough to ease the minds of fans looking for information regarding Capcom and the Wii U.
"Some good stuff is coming and I'd love to tell you more," Svensson wrote, "but for now, I have to keep it a surprise. Sorry."
Capcom is currently investing heavily in Resident Evil 6. Could that be one of their big Wii U titles?
Given the recent sales slow the industry has been suffering from, it's no surprise that developers are not as eager to jump into a new console. Despite Ubisoft's claims that developing for the Wii U has been relatively inexpensive, for some companies investing just a million dollars can still be viewed as a huge gamble – especially given the economic times we're in and the uncertainty of the Wii U's success.
