Carrie Fisher has been as notoriously outspoken about Princess Leia’s iconic hair styles as the hair styles themselves are famous. She had previously referred to her A New Hope ‘do as “bagel buns” but relented due to fear of being fired but she’s now back with fresh commentary on The Force Awakens and her hair’s new As Seen on TV Ultra Bump It look.
"I think my new hairstyle… I like to say looks like a baboon ass. Go look at the poster, they snuck it in. I don't mostly wear the baboon ass hairstyle. Nothing against baboons, but they don't make good hairstyles,” the actress shared with Kelly Ripa during an interview for Live with Kelly and Michael.
“She's had some life experiences that are complex,” she continued, “And I think it shows on some of the pictures they've released of me. That I kind of look exhausted and that will happen after forty years. You know, you get tired…And when you have bad hair like that, you're gonna look upset."
