City of Heroes Going F2P

NCsoft and Paragon Studios, the companies behind the most popular cape-donning MMORPG on the market, have announced a new way to play City of Heroes. Later this year, they’ll be releasing City of Heroes Freedom, which allows players to enjoy an enormous amount of content for free and customize the experience by choosing which features and areas they want.

Players can still subscribe to access all of the exclusive benefits, content, and services. Starting July 1, current subscribers will receive 400 Paragon points every month until launch. This will give loyal customers unprecedented rewards and options when City of Heroes Freedom arrives.

Freedom also gives tons of new costumes, new starting content, new zones to play in, and much more. With great power comes great responsibility. With City of Heroes Freedom comes premium content for free.
